Kings defeated Oasis by 19 runs and GHCA defeated Kavre Academy by 104 runs in the semifinals of the Rising Star U-14 Boys Cricket Tournament held at the Siphal Ground on Sunday.

Kings Cricket Academy and Great Himalaya Cricket Academy (Lalitpur) have reached the final of the Rising Star U-14 Boys Cricket Tournament. Kings defeated Oasis by 19 runs and GHCA defeated Kavre Academy by 104 runs in the semi-finals held at the Siphal Ground on Sunday.

Batting first, Kings scored 161 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Shantanu Basnet scored 40 runs in 42 balls, Ayush Chalise scored 36 runs in 32 balls and Ekendra Budha scored 33 runs in 20 balls. Oasis's Syabhash Shrestha, Saugat Century and Nemesh Yonjan took 1 wicket each.

In reply, Oasis were all out for 142 runs in 20 overs. Aranjung Giri scored 43 runs in 40 balls, Nemesh scored 32 runs in 25 balls and Vishal Budha scored 17 runs in 8 balls. Kings' Rithem Bohra took 4 wickets for the loss of 30 runs in 4 overs, Abhiyan Khadka and Pranish Giri took 1 wicket each.

In the second semi-final, GHCA scored 169 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Kamal Shahi scored 51 runs in 44 balls, Shishir Giri scored 37 runs in 31 balls, Dikshant Mishra scored 23 runs in 27 balls. Kavre's Raghuvansh Raut took 2 wickets and Prashant Poudel took 1 wicket.

Kavre were all out for 65 runs in 10.5 overs in reply. Raghuvansh scored 15 off 16 balls, Jaysis Bekaju scored 14 off 14 balls and Vivek Thapa scored 9 runs. GHCA's Kamal Shahi took 5 for 12 runs in 3.5 overs, including 1 maiden, while Tanvir Sheikh and Shishir Oli took 1 wicket each.
