Sudurpaschim Royals have re-signed New Zealand fast bowler Scott Kuggeleijn for the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). He had performed brilliantly in leading Sudurpaschim to the final of the first edition.

Last year, he and Janakpur Bolts' Lalit Rajbanshi tied for the most wickets with 17. Sudurpaschim Royals team promoter Swatantra Pratap Shah said of Scott's return, "Scott's experience will further strengthen our bowling attack, while his all-round ability will also add significant depth to the batting lineup."

Sudurpaschim said Scott is also very excited to return to Nepal. He said he is eager to play in front of the Sudurpaschim Royals supporters again this season and contribute to the team's success. The 33-year-old Kuggeleijn has played 3 Tests, 2 One-Day Internationals and 18 Twenty20 Internationals for New Zealand.
