South Africa has achieved a resounding victory over Pakistan in the second Test. South Africa defeated Pakistan by eight wickets on Thursday, ending the two-Test series in a 1-1 draw.

Chasing a target of 68 runs in the second innings to win, South Africa scored 73 runs for the loss of two wickets.

Captain Aiden Markle top-scored for South Africa on the fourth day of the second Test in Rawalpindi with 42 runs. Similarly, Ryan Rickelton remained not out with 25 runs.

Earlier, Pakistan had lost control of the game after being bowled out for just 138 runs in their second innings. Former Pakistani captain Babar Azam scored 50 runs, but no other batsman supported him.

For South Africa, spinner Simon Harmer bowled deadly and took 6 wickets for 50 runs. Batting first, Pakistan scored 333 runs in the first innings, before South Africa scored 404 runs in reply.
