In the final competition held on Monday, Sumit Shrestha's goal in the 63rd minute was decisive. Both teams put a lot of pressure on each other throughout the match. The winning team of the competition held at the Jyotipunj Sports Ground in Rampur Municipality-7, Kisanbari, received a trophy, medal and certificate along with Rs 350,000 in cash. The runner-up United Youth Club was satisfied with a trophy, medal and certificate along with Rs 200,000 in cash.
Winner Jyotipunj Youth Club had reached the final by defeating Devdaha Boys Rupandehi in the semi-finals. United Youth reached the final by defeating Abhishek Church Nawalpur. Sumit Shrestha of Jyotipunj Youth Club, who scored the final goal in the competition, became the Player of the Final Match. He received Rs 5,150 in cash. Similarly, Jaya Gurung of Jyotipunj Youth Club was declared the Red Bull Energetic Player of the Final Match and received a gift hamper. Ashish Gurung of Jyotipunj was declared the Most Valuable Player of the tournament, which started on Kartik 26. He received 17 thousand in cash, certificate and trophy.
Similarly, Ashish GC of Devdaha Boys Rupandehi was the top scorer, Saroj Tamang of Jyotipunj was the best goalkeeper, Yama Prasad Budha of United Youth Club Girubari Nawalpur was the best defender, Sumit Malla of United Youth Nawalpur was the best coach, Keshav Shrestha of Jyotipunj was the best coach. Jyotipunj Youth Club has given 25 thousand/25 thousand in cash to the teams that reach the semi-finals but do not reach the final. The winner and runner-up teams of the competition were awarded cash prizes, trophies and medals by Rampur Municipality Mayor Raman Bahadur Thapa, International BP Chintan Foundation President Sandeep Rana, Japanese social worker Kazumasa Kakimi, Jyotipunj President Sundar Rana and others. Rampur Municipality Mayor Thapa said that the construction of the football stadium will proceed as soon as the detailed project report is prepared. Mayor Thapa said that Rs 5 million has been allocated in the current fiscal year and that there is a budget of Rs 20 million in the future. International BP Chintan Foundation President Rana said that the competition will help in upgrading the playgrounds in the city and boosting the morale of the players.
10 clubs from Rupandehi, Pokhara, Kathmandu, Syangja, Nawalpur, Chitwan, Palpa and other places participated in the competition. Former president of Jyotipunj Youth Club Sudip Gautam said that the club organized the third edition of the competition to develop football, encourage local players, and identify Rampur city. The organizers of the competition were Jyotipunj, Unite of Nawalpur, Himalayan Sherpa Club of Kathmandu, Debadah Biyaz of Rupandehi, LG Association of Pokhara, Horizon Club Waling of Syangja, Bhairav Sports Club of Nawalpur and Abhishek Church Rajahar, Suryapur Football Club of Chitwan. The club has successfully completed the first and second editions.
