A 30-member Nepali team, including 26 players, is set to leave for Ranchi, India, on Wednesday to participate in the South Asian Senior Athletics Championship.

The tournament to be held from October 24 to 26 includes Mukesh Pal, Rajan Rokaya, Som Kumal, Salin Dewan, Santoshi Shrestha, Purnalakshmi Neupane, Sushil KC, Shivraj Parki, Arun Mahato, Ramchandra Tharu, Tilak BK, Yubaraj BK, Ganesh Singh Rawat, Nageshwor Air, Chandradev Joshi, Praveen Rana, and Basanti Chaudhary. Other players include Seema Kumari Tharu, Jayarani Tharu, Sita Shahi, Sharmila Kumari Tharu, Saraswati Chaudhary, Ranjita Adhikari, Dina Gopali, and Narayani Bhandari.

The coaches are Rakesh Bajracharya and Dhaniram Chaudhary, the manager is Dipendra Kumar Goit, and the official is Anirudra Chaudhary.

National Sports Council Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising bid farewell to the team on Monday.
