Nepalgunj Swimming Club Banke is going to organize a national swimming competition. The club is going to organize the second Nepalgunj National Swimming Championship 2025 on Kartik 14 and 15.
Club President Keshav Raj Neupane said that more than 200 players will participate in the competition to be held at the swimming pool in the Nepalgunj Stadium complex. He informed that the competition, which is targeted at schools across the country, will be contested between the age groups of 8, 10, 12, 14 and 17, as well as the open age group.
The club has stated that arrangements have been made for any organization or club to participate in the competition institutionally.
Players in the under-8 age group will compete in 25 meters, 50 meters for the under-10 age group, 50 and 100 meters between the under-12 and under-14 age groups, and 200 and 400 meters in the open age group in a total of 56 events.
Players coming to participate from other districts except Banke will be provided with free lunch, food and accommodation throughout the competition, informed the club's senior vice-president Suryamani Adhikari.
