Siraha's Sahlesh Football Club reached the final of the Belbari Arzu Rice NB Rungmahang Memorial Invitational Running Gold Cup Football on Friday. In the second semi-final held at Belbari-11, Laxmi Marg, Morang, Sahlesh defeated Bhojpur Football Association 1-0 with an extra-time goal.

Sahlesh's Sujan Dangol's goal towards the end of extra time was the decisive one. Bhojpur, which was reduced to 10 players, adopted a defensive strategy for most of the game, but conceded a goal at the last moment.

Bhojpur's Vivek Rai was named the Player of the Match. Now Sahlesh will face Kathmandu's Planning Boys United Club in the final on Saturday. The winner will receive a gold and silver trophy along with Rs 800,000, and the runner-up will receive Rs 400,000.
