Chasing a target of 110 runs, Gurukhola achieved the target in 9.1 overs, losing 3 wickets. Gajendra Bohra scored the highest score of 43 runs. Paras Bista of Himchuli took 2 wickets.
Batting first at the Krishna Secondary School playground, Himchuli scored only 109 runs in 17.5 overs. Kailash Iyer of Gurukhola took 4 wickets. He was adjudged Player of the Final.
Rishikesh Bohra from Himchuli scored 110 runs and 7 wickets throughout the tournament. He was adjudged Player of the Series.
Abhishek Pal of Banarasi Cricket Team was named the Best Batter, while Ram Chand of Gurukhola was the Best Bowler. Abhishek scored 184 runs and Ram took 7 wickets. Sameer Bhandari of Patan Ekta Samaj (B) was adjudged the Emerging Player of the Year. He received a prize of Rs 4,444.
The Man of the Series received Rs 12,345, while the Best Bowler and Batter each received Rs 5,678.
Thirteen teams participated in the competition organized by Patan Ekta Samaj under the sponsorship of Patan Municipality. Baitadi Cricket Association President Binod Chand believes that this competition, held at the local level, will help in producing new players and enhancing the capabilities of players.
