Devdaha Boys Club of Rupandehi has reached the semi-finals by winning the third Jyotipunj Cup National Knockout Football Tournament being held in Rampur on Friday.

Devdaha defeated Suryapur Football Club Chitwan 4-2. Ashish Khatri scored 4 goals alone. He scored in the 14th, 53rd, 63rd and 64th minutes of the match. Mohit Gurung scored in the 45th minute for Suryapur and foreign player Recharge Doyleson scored in the 83rd minute. Ashish was named Player of the Match. He received Rs 3,000. Suraj Chaudhary of Devdaha received a Red Bull Energetic Player of the Match gift hamper.

The winner Devdaha Boys will compete with the hosts Jyotipunj Youth Club Rampur Palpa in the second semi-final on Sunday. United Youth Club Nawalpur will play Abhishek Church Rajahar in the first semi-final on Saturday.
