Freedom 'B' defeated Chawhill Sports Club 'A' by 1-0 in the final of the tournament organized by Kathmandu Metropolitan City Ward 7 at Chawhil on Wednesday. Kanya Gurung scored the decisive goal. Narakumar Rai of the winner was declared man of the match.
Freedom received 1 lakh and Chavhil received 50 thousand. The winner's daughter was chosen as the best player. Rojash Shahi became the best player, Sachin Shrestha became the best goalkeeper and Sagun Shrestha became the best defender. All three chavhils belong to 'A'. The best four were awarded with 5 thousand rupees each.
The winner was awarded by All Nepal Football Association Vice President Biratjung Shahi, Organizing Ward President Bimal Kumar Hoda, Ward Member and Tournament Coordinator Suresh Shahi and others. 20 teams participated in the competition.
