One male and 3 female players will compete. Swanim Manandhar will compete in men's singles. Erika will compete in the women's 68 kg, Varsha Budha in the under 50 kg and Savina Shrestha in the under 55 kg category.
There are 49 contestants in the Swanim competition, 34 in Erica's competition, 38 in Barsha's competition and 46 in Savina's competition. The top 6 players in each event of this selection will be selected for the 27th World Karate Championship to be held in Cairo, Egypt from November 27 to 30. Before the selection, 24 players from each competition have been selected for the World Championship. 32 players will be allowed to participate in one competition. The remaining 2 players will be selected from the university quota. 549 players will participate in the selection which includes 12 different competitions.

team. Aamir Rana will also go with the team to participate in the coaching test to be held in Paris on October 16. According to the Karate Federation, he will play the role of team manager. Sushant Adhikari has sponsored the track suit for the team. The
team was bid farewell by National Sports Council (Rakhep) member-secretary Tanklal Ghising and others on Tuesday. Member-Secretary Ghising suggested the players to perform with high morale as it is a golden opportunity to create history.
