Biratnagar Kings have signed Scotland's opener George Muncie for the upcoming Nepal Premier League. The Kings made the announcement on Saturday through social media. The second edition of NPL is starting from 1st November.

In the NPL, there is a provision to have up to 6 foreign players in one team . Four of those players will be able to play in the playing. The 32-year-old Muncie has previously played in other global leagues. He has experience playing in Bangladesh Premier League, IL T20 in UAE and Vitality Blast in England . 

Muncie has scored 2,302 runs in 81 Twenty20 internationals for Scotland. His strike rate is 144 and his average is above 131 . During Nepal's visit to Scotland in June, Munshi played an innings of 191 runs against the Netherlands in the World Cup League 2 one-day international match at Dundee. Similarly, he scored 78 runs in 39 balls in the Twenty20 international against Nepal in Glasgow.
