Dilpeshwar Cricket League season-3 competition is going to start from Saturday in Doti. The third edition of DCL is about to start under the auspices of Dilpeshwar Sports Club.
According to the organizers, the preparations for the competition to be held at Dipayal Silagadi Municipality-3 Math at Dilpeshwar Sports Ground have been completed. A cultural fair will also be organized along with the league.
The first prize money of the competition, which will last until October 2, is 111,111,111 including trophies and medals. The second prize is 51 thousand one hundred and 11 rupees. Rambhakta Sunar, acting president of the club, said that awards have also been arranged for players such as man of the match, best bowler, best whats man, man of the series and other players in the
competition. 6 players from Doti district must be included in the team participating in the
competition and 5 players from outside the district will be allowed to participate in the team. If the players are foreign citizens, up to two people can be included in the team.
The organizer said that this was done because the players of Doti have a chance to learn while playing together with players from outside the district. In the first stage of the
competition, the game will be played by knockout and in the second stage, the game will be played by the league system. Only the winners of the first round will be allowed to play in the league. Kaw Sunar said that 22 teams participated in the competition.
