Nepal Premier League (NPL) champion team Janakpur Bolts will hold their training camp at Chennai Super Kings Academy in India. According to Bolts, the camp will run from October 10 to November 1 in collaboration with Chennai.
8 Bolts players will participate in the camp to be held in Coimbatore. Currently, Asif Sheikh and Lalit Rajwanshi will not be in the Chennai camp in the Nepalese team to play the Asia-East Asia Pacific Qualifiers for the Twenty20 World Cup in Oman. Asif is the marquee player of Bolts while Lalit was selected as the best bowler while making the team the champion. The players participating in the
camp are Anil Kumar Sah, Rupesh Singh, Shubh Kansakar, Vikas Agri, Sachin Bhatt, Tul Bahadur Thapa, Aditya Mahata and Mayan Yadav. Kishore Mahato will not be participating in the Chennai camp as he is playing grade cricket in Australia.
Janakpur Bolts, owned by Dream Sports Pvt Ltd, won the first edition by defeating Sudurpaschim Royals in the final last year. The second edition of
NPL is scheduled to be held from November 17 to December 13.
