Manchester City defeated Brentford 1-0 in the English Premier League on Sunday with the help of the only goal scored by Erling Haaland in the ninth minute of the game.

The narrow win at the Community Stadium took Pep Guardiola's City to 13 points from seven games and three points clear of leaders Arsenal. Brentford is in 16th place with seven points.

This is the third time City have won in the last four league games. Holland has scored 12 goals in nine games in all competitions this season.
