10 teams including 'A' division clubs are going to compete in the 3rd Jyotipunj Cup open football tournament to be held at Rampur in Palpa.
Sundar Rana, president of Jyotipunj Youth Club Rampur, the organizer, informed that A division club Himalayan Sherpa will participate.
According to him, the organizers Jyotipunj Yuva Club, Tansen's New Youth Union Club, Rupandehi's Devdah Boys, Pokhara's LG Association, Syangja's Horizon Club Walling, Nawalpur's Bhairav Sports Club, Nawalpur's Bhairav Sports Club, United Youth Club and Abhishek Church Rajahar, Chitwan's Suryapur Football Club will participate in the tournament. In order to complete the
competition, the ground has been cleaned and the construction of the temporary parapet has started. According to the organizers, the competition will be held at the ground in Rampur Municipality-7, Kisanbari along with the campaign to build a stadium in Rampur. Club President Rana said that since the first and second editions of

winner will win a trophy with Rs 350,000 and the runner-up will win Rs 2 lakh. The club will award 25/25 thousand to the semi-final losing team. The best player of the
competition will receive 17 thousand rupees and a trophy. The highest scorer, best goalkeeper, best defender, emerging player, best coach will be awarded with 8,000 each.
