The district level football tournament has started in Tatopani Rural Municipality-4 of the district. The football tournament with the biggest amount of money has started under the organization of Gididah Yuva Club.

On the first day of the match, there was a match between Gididah Yuva Club (B) and Jumla FC. In which FC defeated the host Gididah (B) with a 12-0 goal difference.
Jumla FC's Rubin Bhandari scored a hat-trick in the first game. Lakshmi Bhandari, Suresh Nepali and Amrit Bista scored 2 goals each. Sunil Thapa Magar, Khadak Kattel and Shikhar Shahi scored one goal each.
The second such match was between the host Gididah (A) and Black Diamond FC. In which FC won 5-4 in the penalty shootout.
In this competition, the winning team will get a prize of 1 lakh 1 thousand 111 rupees. Earlier, a district level football tournament was organized in Jumla headquarters, Khalanga, focusing on children below 14 years of age.
President of District Football Association Jumla, Bharat Budthapa, said that the increasing attraction of football among the youth of villages is a positive thing. He informed that a football tournament will be organized in all secondary schools of the district after Tihar.
