Malaysia defeated Nepal by 13 runs in the third Women's International Twenty20 on Sunday and took the lead again in the series. After this win, Malaysia was leading 2-1 in the five-match series.

Malaysia batted first and scored 120 runs for the loss of four wickets in the match at Biomass Cricket Ground in Kuala Lumpur. In that, Aina Hamiz scored a brilliant half-century. She scored 61 runs off 58 balls. Similarly, Mass Elsa also did not contribute 30 runs.

In reply, Nepal could score only 107 runs while losing 8 wickets. Ruby Podar scored the highest 31 runs. Similarly, Indu Verma added 22 runs. Nepal needed 17 runs in the last over to win but could not get it. Now the remaining two matches of the series will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday.
