India took control of the first day of the first Test against the West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which started on Thursday. India started their first innings and scored 121 runs with the loss of two wickets.

Similarly, Sai Hod added 26 runs and captain Roston Chase added 24 runs. Among the Indian bowlers, Mohammad Siraj took four wickets for 40 runs and Jasprit Bumrah took three wickets for 42 runs. Kuldeep Yadav also took two wickets.
