Since Nuno Spirito Santo arrived as a new coach, West Ham drew 1-1 with Everton on Monday in their first match in the English Premier League.

Everton took the lead in the 18th minute with Michael Kane's goal.

Jarrod Bowe equalized for West Ham in the 65th minute and gave his team a valuable point. After this result, Everton remained in eighth place with eight points.

West Ham is still in the relegation zone. He has just four points from six games and is in 19th place. This is only the second occasion that West Ham have avoided defeat in the seven games they have played this season.
