Prabha won a historic silver medal at the 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix in New Delhi.
Two athletes from Nepal are going to compete in the World Para Athletics Championship. 1-1 male/female players will participate in the tournament to be held in New Delhi, India from September 25 to October 5.
Himal Aryal will compete in men's shot put of F-55 category. In women, Prabha Angdembe will compete in T-47 category long jump. Both the players were directly selected for the World Championship from ViperTite.

The official is Omnath Sivokati, president of the Para Athletics Association of Nepal, and Sangbu Bhote, the secretary, is the manager. National Sports Council Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising bid farewell to the team on Wednesday. Apart from President Sivakoti, the team will go to India on Thursday. President Sivakoti is scheduled to leave in a few days.
