Defending champions Liverpool won their fifth consecutive victory in the English Premier League on Saturday. He beat Everton 2-1 in the Merseyside derby at Anfield.

After this victory, Liverpool has a maximum of 15 points and is in the top position. Everton was limited to 7 points and remained in seventh place.

Liverpool scored both goals in the first half. After Ryan Gravenbach gave the team the lead in the 10th minute, Hugo Ekitike added the second goal in the 29th minute. Idris Gueye scored a goal for Everton in the 58th minute.

With this match, Alexander Isaac made his league debut for Liverpool. He left Newcastle United for a record fee and came to Liverpool and entered the field as a substitute player.

Everton's David Moyes has yet to win at Anfield as a coach. This was his 23rd visit to Liverpool's home as a coach.
