The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has fined the All Nepal Football Association 10,000 US dollars.

AFC's Discipline and Code of Conduct Committee has decided to take action against Nepal. The meeting held on August 21 of that committee imposed a fine on ANFA.

This action was taken after Nepal did not participate in the selection of AFC Futsal Cup 2026. According to the committee, ANFA withdrew its name 16 days before the start of the qualifying matches. ANFA has been penalized in accordance with Competition Rule 6.7 . According to the

action, Nepal will have to pay a fine of 10,000 US dollars within 30 days of notification. Similarly, Nepal has been punished by not being able to participate in the next edition of this futsal tournament. ANFA sources also confirmed the action and said that it was all due to extreme negligence.
