UAE will play the final match of the league against Pakistan on Wednesday and the winner will advance from Group A to the Super Four. The winner of this match will play against India again on Sunday. With UAE's victory over Oman, India is also officially confirmed in the Super Four. After winning the first two matches, India will play the last match of the league against Oman on Friday.
After Alison Sarafu and Mohammad Wasim shared 88 runs for the first wicket within 11 overs, UAE, who were invited to bat first, lost 5 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and scored 172 runs. Sarafu scored 51 runs from 38 balls with 7 fours and 1 six and Wasim scored 69 runs from 54 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes.
