Lalitpur Queens, the franchise team of Everest Women's Volleyball League, will participate in the Tiger Cup national and international volleyball tournament in Pokhara. The sixth edition of Tiger Cup organized by Tiger Group is scheduled to be held from January 9 to 17.
Lalitpur Queens, owned by Rupsey Sports Management, has started competing in the Everest Women's Volleyball League since last year. In the first edition, the team lost to Karnali in the final. Lalitpur, where Salina Shrestha is the marquee player, has won the first two games in the league being held in Pokhara.
Lalitpur has said that it will also participate in other competitions in the country and abroad to establish and professionalize volleyball in Nepal.
