Inter-school level football competition has started in Jasmla. Students in the age group below 14 years are participating in the competition.
District Football Association Jumla has said that the competition has been organized to make football accessible to school level.
Gaurinanda Acharya, head of district coordination committee, inaugurated the competition by giving balls to the players. "There is a good chance of football in recent times. It has been seen that talented players can be produced,' said the head Acharya, 'Now if every school can take football to the villages, it is seen that a good message can be spread.' 24 schools of the district have participated in the
competition. In which 14 male and 10 male female teams are participating.
President Bharat Bahadur Budthapa informed that the inter-school level competition has started according to the annual program of Nepal Football Association ANFA. According to him, the latest generation is attracted to football. If they are encouraged, it seems that good players can be produced.
According to ANFA, the competition that started at the Tundikhel ground of the Nepali Army will bring football games to every school.
