The nominations for the prestigious NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards 2081 of Nepalese sports have been announced on Saturday in four categories namely men, women, youth players and coaches.

The player selection committee of Nepal Sports Journalist Forum (NSJF) has announced the players and coaches nominated in four categories of the 22nd edition of Sports Awards.

According to the selection committee, the best 5 people have been nominated for male player of the year, female player of the year, young player of the year and coach of the year. Dipendrasinh Airi and Kushal Bhurtel of cricket, Vijay Sinjali of Usu, Santu Shrestha of table tennis and Janak Chand of kho khel are nominated for Men of the Year.

On the women's side, Karate's Erica Gurung, Football's Rekha Paudel, Karate's Alyssa Rascotti Magar, Kho Khoki's Manmati Dhami and Volleyball's Salina Shrestha have been selected. The nominations have been announced by a 5-member selection committee consisting of Niranjan Rajvanshi, Prajit Shakya, Himesharatna Vajracharya and Virat Rayamazhi under the coordination of

forum secretary Anil Malla Thakuri. In the year 2081, he was nominated based on his success and excellent performance in national and international competitions.

Ajay Vick of athletics, Anjali Maharjan of karate, Pooja Mahato of cricket, Swastika of boxing and Sameer Tamang of football have been nominated for the young sportsperson of the year. Kaviraj Negi Lama of Para Taekwondo, Kushal Shrestha of Karate, Deepak Maharjan of Boxing, Mahesh Rizal of Cricket and Lakshminarayan Vaidya of Kho Kho have been nominated for Coach of the Year.
