Avenging the one-sided defeat in the Wimbledon final, American eighth-ranked player Amanda Anisimova beat Iga Swatic to advance to the semi-finals of the US Open on Thursday.

Anisimova defeated Swatic 6-4, 6-3 at the Arthur Ace Stadium. In the last Wimbledon final, Swatik won 6-0 and 6-0.

It is considered the most one-sided Grand Slam final so far. But this time Swatic's performance was not the same and Anisimova was extremely happy with the win.

On the men's side, Felix Ager-Elissim has reached the last four and he defeated Alex de Miner 4-6, 7-6, 7-5 and 7-6 for this.
