9 athletes from Nepal are going to participate in the 23rd edition of AKF U-22 Karate Championship.

6 male and 3 female players will participate in the tournament which will be held in Saogong, China from September 5 to 7.

Men Pradeep Magar under 67 kg, Javed Rehan in Kata, Simon Shrestha under 55 kg, Nishan Tamang under 68 kg, Sandeep Tamang under 61 kg and Nigam Timsina under 76 kg will compete.

Manisha Bohra under 61 kg, Anjali Magar under 50 kg and Sonam Sherpa under 53 kg will be participating. Rajendra Baral is the official and Kushal Shrestha is the coach. Kushal has reached China. The

team was bid farewell by the member-secretary of the National Sports Council of Success, Tanklal Ghising, on Monday.
