The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has banned Nepal Triathlon Association President Nilendraraj Shrestha and Nepal Equestrian Association President Ravi Rajkarnikar for two years.
The executive meeting held on August 28 of OCA banned him from engaging in any activities related to him.
This decision was made based on the decision and recommendation of the Ethics Committee of OCA. He said that the ban will be implemented immediately. Devendranath Sarangi, chairman of the Ethics Committee, wrote a letter and informed about the ban. Earlier, the OCA had banned them for 90 days.
Both Shrestha and Rajkarnikar are members of the ad hoc committee of Nepal Olympic Committee formed under the leadership of Dhruva Bahadur Pradhan and supported by the government.
