After Sandeep Zora scored 64 runs off 39 balls, Nepal won the toss and scored 208 runs losing 6 wickets. Player of the match he hit 2 fours and 5 sixes. Opener and captain Anil Shah was dismissed for 10 runs off 11 balls with 1 boundary. Another opener Ishan Pandey scored 32 runs in 20 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes.
Sandeep and Shubh Kansakar shared 86 runs for the third wicket. Shubh scored 41 runs off 26 balls with 1 four and 4 sixes. Basir Ahmed was retired for 10 runs. Adil Alam Ansari remained unbeaten scoring 25 runs off 11 balls with 3 sixes. Vivek Yadav was run out for 7 runs while Pawan Sarraf played 2 balls and remained unbeaten for 7 runs. Assam's Ayushman Malakar took 2 wickets each with 34 runs in 4 overs and Abhinav Chaudhary 41 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, Assam could score only 164 runs after losing 9 wickets. Bhargava Pritam Lahkar, who batted at number 10, remained unbeaten with the highest score of 29 runs. He hit 1 four and 3 sixes in 17 balls. Openers Sumit Ghadigaonkar and Sahil Jain scored 25 runs apiece. From Nepal, Sher Malla, Akash Chand and Pawan took 2 wickets each and Basir and Adil took 1 wicket each.
Nepal was defeated by 15 runs based on the Duckworth-Lewis method in the rain-affected first match and won the second match by 96 runs to level the series. Although Nepal won the third game by 9 runs, Assam won the fourth game by 18 runs, but the series was tied at 2-2.
