Nepal ended their U-17 Women's SAFF Championship journey on Sunday with a disappointing draw with Bhutan. Bhutan held Nepal to a 1-1 draw in the final league match of the double round robin tournament.

Nepal took the lead in the 15th minute with Bavita Karki's goal in the match at Changlimithang in Thimphu, Bhutan. Sonam Yangchin equalized for Bhutan in the injury time of the first half. In the previous match, Bangladesh won 4-3 over India, who had already won.

After the result of the last game, Nepal finished third with four points from six games. Bhutan was at the bottom of the four teams with two points. Before the last match, India had already become the champion. India was at the top with 15 points and behind them with 13 points.
