St. Xavier's College has won the Inter-School A Level Futsal Tournament organized on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of Global Reach. St. Xavier's defeated Premier International IB Continuum School by 4-3 in a penalty shootout in the final of the Dhuku Futsal tournament held on Saturday.

After the scheduled 40-minute match ended in a 1-1 draw, the decision was taken by tiebreaker. 16 colleges of the valley participated in the competition. Global Reach has organized this competition as part of its social responsibility.  The best player of

competition was won by Aditya Gayre of St. Xavier's. The top scorer was Shyamir Shrestha of Premium, the best goalkeeper was Relish Neupane of Premium and the best coach was Vedant Singh Thakuri of St. Xavier's. The player of the final was Sanjog Rai of St. Xavier's. Rato Bangla School won the Fair Play Award.  The

competition was co-sponsored by Australia's University of Technology Sydney, Bangkok University, Curtin University, University of Canberra, Macquarie University and Australian Catholic University. Forward Rekha Paudel of Nepali National Women's Team distributed the prize to the winner. The representative of Global Reach promised to continue the competition in the future due to the energy and love of futsal shown by the students.
