Under the 31st Gyan Carnival, the host Gyanodaya Balbatika has reached the quarterfinals in boys basketball.

Soni Puri added 18 points when Gyanodaya defeated James by a score of 49-17 on the home court. TIA beat Oasis by 59-37, Malpi City beat Little Angels by 54-23, Himalaya beat Malpi by 66-37, Pushpa Sadan beat Ideal Model by 48-46 and Baldiksha Sadan beat Rato Bangla by 34-16  Secured the quarterfinals.

Jupiter beat The Excelsior 5-1 in boys football. Jupiter's Telajion Gurung scored 2 goals, Souris Shrestha and Arbhajang Karki scored 1 each. One goal was suicide. Excelsior's Ayan Maharjan returned a goal.
