Nepal 'A' won the second friendly match against Assam by 96 runs on Friday. Nepal was defeated by 15 runs based on the Duckworth-Lewis method in the rain-affected first match the previous day.
After winning the toss, Nepal 'A' scored 173 runs after losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs at the ACA CA Maidan Phulung in Guwahati. Even though captain and opener Anil Shah and Shubh Kanskar were out for 4 runs, Nepal 'A' managed to make a good score.
Dev Khanal and Sandeep Zora shared a partnership of 45 runs for the third wicket. Opener Dev scored 31 with 2 fours and 1 six from 35 balls and Sandeep scored 35 runs from 23 balls with 1 four and 3 sixes. Pawan Sarraf scored 31 from 23 balls with 3 sixes, Adil Alam Ansari scored 14 runs from 8 balls with 2 sixes.
