Jhapa FC scored such a victory in the ANFA Women's Football League Qualifiers on Wednesday, which made the equation of Group 'B' exciting. Jhapa beat NRT 2-1 at Chasal ground. This is NRT's first loss in their third game.

 

With this, NRT remained limited to 6 points. On the contrary, Jhapa has collected 6 points while playing the 4th game. Jhapa has also put a full stop to the losing streak of 2 consecutive games.

After this result, Sankata remained at the top of the group with 9 points. The team's selection prospects are strong. Sankata became the only team to get 100% results in Group B. Against NRT, Jhapa took the lead in the 32nd minute. Sunkala Rai remained the goal scorer. Then Ima Rai added the second goal in the 74th minute. 

In the ninth minute of injury time of the second half, Sangeethakumari Malla pulled a goal back for Anarty. But this was nothing more than a consolation goal. NRT is still second in the group. Jhapa is in third place. Butwal Lumbini is in the fourth place with 6 points. 

In group 'A', the Church Boys are on top with 9 points with 100% results. The team easily defeated Students FC 4-0 in the first match of the day. Varsha Magar opened the scoring from the penalty. Then Saritakumari Nath scored 65, Varsha Oli scored 72 and Aarti Bhujel scored in the sixth minute of injury time of the second half. 

This result has strengthened the selection chances of the church boys. Chhahari is also undefeated in this group. The team has 7 points from 3 matches. RS Resort FC is on 6 points after playing all three matches. Students were limited to 6 points after 4 games.
