Bashundhara National Academy (BNA) and JB School have won the Junior Boys of the 19th Greenland Inter-School Basketball Tournament. Deepak Tamang scored 9 when BNA defeated Reliance Public with a score of 23-18.

JB School beat Bhadrakali 27-21 with Gaurav Oli scoring 11 points. Agyaraj Rai scored 8 points as Golden Peak defeated the host Greenland 29-24.

In senior boys, Goldenpeak beat Bhadrakali 53-47, JB Feriland 37-31, Paramount Academy beat Saraswati 50-41 and Hames beat HHCA 53-41. Golden Peak's Prisam KC scored 12, JB's Naresh Bohra scored 15, Paramount's Manoj Gurung scored 16 and Hames' Jonas Kuinkel scored 12.

In senior girls, Landmark defeated Navadikshit 23-17 and Ferryland defeated Eden Bridge Academy (EBA) by 24-21. Pratima Karki of Landmark and Pratima Karki of Landmark scored 7-7.

Bal Sansara success

Bal Sansara reached the quarterfinals of the second timeline inter-school basketball tournament for senior girls on Tuesday. On the court of the host Timeline School, Bal Sansar defeated Kathmandu Xavier's Public with a score of 10-2. Vivika Pokharel added 4 scores.

In the senior girls, Young Hearts beat Akashdeep 27-4 and Mnemonic defeated the host Timeline 32-27 to reach the quarterfinals. Yong's Stuti Shrestha scored 15 and Mnemonic's Asmita Thapa scored 12.

In senior boys, Wits Academy defeated Manakamana 34-23, Marvelous Academy defeated Akashdeep 55-20, Christian defeated Wave School 31-18 and Bagmati School defeated Reliance Co-Ed 47-28.  Aryan of Wits scored 10, Roshan Kushwaha of Marvelous scored 10, Kapil Mahat of Christian scored 17 and Ayush Basnet of Bagmati scored 12.
