The 15th edition of Lalitpur District Level Yal Cup Badminton, which started with the aim of producing players at the local level, will be held from October 25. Kul Bahadur Maharjan, chairman of Lalitpur Ward No. 7, has started the 50-day countdown.
The letter has been handed over by appointing Sunil Shakya as Director, Anuparatna Shakya as Referee and Sumit Shakya as Match Control for the operation of the tournament which will last till October 1. Ward 7 was runner-up in the 14th edition.
Ward Chairman Maharjan said that the ward has set aside a budget of 10 lakhs to organize and prepare for the competition and will provide additional support if necessary.
