Swarnim beat Galaxy Public 18-11 at the court of the host New Zenith. Prateek Maharjan scored 8 in Swarnim's win. Gyan Niketan beat Valley View 54-40 on Mahendra Pyakurel's 16 points.
In senior boys, People's Academy defeated Anandkuti 32-12, Kashyap defeated New Zenith 25-20, Pushpa Sadan defeated Manaslu 56-44, Rarahill defeated Babylon 37-21, Bright Horizon defeated Euro School 52-36 and Constellation secured the quarterfinals by defeating NIC Academy 40-20.
In the senior girls' quarterfinals, Ribs will face Jesus, Swarnim will face Radiant Public, KCCS and Rarahill and Galaxy will face Euro School. The quarterfinals of both groups will be held on Sunday.
