Sahara Limbu's two goals inspired Nepal to win the SAFF U-17 Women's Championship with a 2-1 comeback victory over Bhutan on Friday. Bhutan took an early lead in the match at the Chamlithang Stadium in Thimphu but could not hold on to it.

Sahara has to thank Bhutanese goalkeeper Keljing Wangmo for both these goals. Both goals were made possible by his mistakes. On both occasions, Wangmo should have stopped the ball. Along with this, Nepal has three points from two games in the double round robin selection. Bhutan remained scoreless with two consecutive losses.

Now Nepal will face Bangladesh on Sunday. India will face Bhutan on the same day. India is at the top with 6 points from 2 games. The team has become a strong contender for the title. India beat Bangladesh 2-0 on Friday for their second straight win.

In the first match, India scored one goal in each half. Pearl Fernandez opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Bonifila Sulai then added the second goal in the 76th minute. With the loss, Bangladesh was also limited to 3 points.
