Nepali National Football Team Captain Savitra Bhandari 'Samba' and Krishi Bikas Bank have renewed their contract for brand ambassador.
Krishi Bikas Bank appointed Samba as a brand ambassador last year. On Friday, the bank renewed the agreement for the next year as well. It is said that the contract amount is decided by mutual agreement.
The agreement was signed by Sudeep Kumar Dahal, Deputy General Manager of the bank and Savitra. On behalf of the bank, the head of the marketing department was Sarita Dahal.
Savitra recalled that the agreement with Krishi Bikas Bank was connected with her feelings. She said, "The first brand ambassador proposal for me was made by Krishi Bikas Bank. When I was young, I used to see pictures of many actors and sportsmen in advertisements. It was a dream that such a day would come for me too. This bank was very happy when it appointed an ambassador for the first time. I am forever grateful for the bank's trust. Gobind Gurung, chief executive officer of
Bank, said that Savitra is not only a football player but also a symbol of hard work. "Joining Agricultural Development Bank with Samba is a matter of prestige for us. His hard work inspires us to do better.'' he said.
Head of Marketing Department Dahal said that the Samba presence gave a special effect to reach the bank far and wide.
Samba was also appointed ambassador by Maximax Education and Visa Services and Hero Motocorp last week.
