Madhesh United has signed the talented outside hitter Kirsten Wessels from the Netherlands for the Vatsalya Everest Women's Volleyball League.

186 cm Ugly Vessels excels in spikes. 26-year-old Wessels started her volleyball career with her home club 'LSV Lappersum'. She was signed to Slidrecht Sport, one of the most successful clubs in the Netherlands. She won the national title from there and performed strongly in the European competition.
Currently she plays in Sudosa-Desto club. Wessels has played in the European and World Championships for the U-19 and U-20 national teams of the Netherlands. Madhesh United hopes that her participation in Nepal will give Tolmia a new dimension and raise the level of Nepali women's volleyball and inspire young players.
Madhesh United's marquee player Niruta Thagunna is in the league to be held in Pokhara from August 20 to 28.
