India defeated Nepal 7-0 in the first match of the tournament at Changlimathang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan. Abhishta Basnet, Neera Chanu and Anushka Kumari scored two goals in India's win.

In the second match, with the help of Alpi Akhtar's two goals, Bangladesh beat the host Bhutan 3-1. Souravhi Preeti scored the first goal in the injury time of the first half. Then Alpi added the second goal in the 54th minute. Rinjin Dema scored a goal for Bhutan in the 61st minute.
Bangladesh did not stop there. Alpi scored the team's third goal in the 65th minute. After this win, Bangladesh also has 3 points. Both Bhutan and Nepal remained scoreless. Nepal is at the bottom by goal difference. Nepal's position has become weak in the competition which started on the basis of round robin league. A total of four teams are participating in the
competition. Other participating teams are hosts Bhutan and Bangladesh. The top team at the end of the league stage will be the winner. Now Nepal will face host Bhutan in the match on Friday. Before that, India and Bangladesh will face each other.
