The second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket tournament will be held in November.
The tournament will be held from November 1st to 27th, according to a press release issued by the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) on Thursday. The mini auction of players for the tournament has already been completed.
With the success of the first edition of the NPL held last year from November 15 to January 6, the second edition has attracted a lot of attention. There are currently eight teams in the NPL. Which includes Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Gurkhan, Pokhara Avengers, Lumbini Lions, Sudurpaschim Royals and Karnali Yaks.
The title of the first edition of NPL was won by Janakpur Bolts. In preparation for the second edition of the NPL, the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur is being upgraded. Parafit is currently being constructed.
