National Sports Council (Rakhep) Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising has said that the Council is paying special attention to the development of para sports.

Member-Secretary Ghisingh expressed this opinion in a meeting with a delegation of 12 people who came to the Council under the 'Sports  Diplomacy - Sports for Social Change' program from America. He informed that after Palesha Govardhan of Para Taekwondo won the bronze medal in Paris Olympics, the scope of para sports in Nepal has become wider.

Before that, the team was welcomed by Member-Secretary Ghising, Director of National Team Preparation Olympian Deepak Bisht, Deputy Director of National Team Preparation Deepak Shrestha, Head of Secretariat Phanindra Paudyal. There was an interaction about the possibility of adaptive sports promotion and sports exchange in Nepal. Gokarn Dhungana, the local partner of the

program and executive director of BIA Institute, highlighted the purpose and importance of the exchange program related to sports.
