Madhesh United has signed Romy Veenstra from the Netherlands for the second Vatsalya Everest Women's Volleyball League (EWVL).

Madhesh signed Veenstra as the first foreign player. Romi is a new generation outside hitter in women's volleyball in the Netherlands. She plays for Club Sudosa-Desto in the top division of the Netherlands from the 2021/22 season. United say that the 188-centimeter-tall Veenstra is a reliable player in both attack and defense of the team.

The marquee player of Madhesh United is Niruta Thagunna and the brand ambassador is actress Neeti Shah.
