Three players from Dang won gold medals in the 8th Heroes International Taekwondo Tournament held on July 24 and 25 in Bangkok, Thailand. Six players from Alpha Taekwondo Dojang Ghorahi participated in the competition.
Out of which contestants Tyson Bista, Vasant Bista and Asmita Budha Magar won the first place and won the gold medal.
Contestants Shubham KC and Ayusha Singh Thakuri secured the second position and won the silver medal. Player Nisha Pun Magar won the bronze medal by securing the third place. Players from 27 countries participated in the tournament. In the
competition, international player Sunita Bista participated as an international judge. President of Alpha Taekwondo Dojang Padam KC said that the winning players along with the judges were welcomed and honored in Ghorahi on Thursday.
