Dhulikhel Municipality is going to provide land to Nepal Hockey Association for building hockey infrastructure. An agreement was reached between the Hockey Association and Dhulikhel Municipality on Thursday.

Suvarna Shrestha, member of the National Sports Council Executive Committee and general secretary of the Hockey Association, and Ashok Banju, Mayor of Dhulikhel Municipality, signed the agreement.

General Secretary Shrestha has said that the municipality has an agreement to lease about 200 ropani land for 40 years in Ward 12.

A hockey stadium, an academy with a hostel and a training center will be built on the acquired land. Shrestha said that a parapit with a capacity of 1,000 will also be built.
