A new ad hoc committee of Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC) has been formed. After the formation of a 9-member ad-hoc committee under the chairmanship of former president Dhruv Bahadur Pradhan, there has been a dispute over the authority of the NOC.

Samim Mian Ansari is the spokesperson of the ad hoc committee. Ansari, the former president of the wrestling association, is also the former president of the Nepal Muslim Commission. It is stated that a 9-member ad hoc committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Pradhan through a release signed by him.
It is stated in the statement issued on the letterhead and print of the NOC that an ad hoc committee was formed by the meeting of the presidents, general secretaries and office bearers of 23 national sports associations affiliated to the NOC. No other officials are mentioned. The NOC election held last December elected a new working committee under the chairmanship of Jeevanram Shrestha.
