Kathmandu Spikers have signed Kazakhstan's Elina Kolotizhina for the Vatsalya Everest Women's Volleyball League.

Spikers announced his name as the second foreign player. Previously signed with Bulgarian setter Nikova Nikolaeva.

29-year-old Elina is an opposite hitter. Elina has played for VC Kaunas and Astana in Kazakhstan. She has also played in the AVC Women's Champions League.

Spikers said on Wednesday that the team will be more balanced and stronger after signing two foreign players, Kikova and Elina. In the first season, foreign players from Turkey and Bulgaria played in Kathmandu.

Everest Women's Volleyball League has a provision to contract three foreign players. The second season of the league will be held in Pokhara from August 20 to 28.
